Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides immediate patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. They are responsible for stabilizing patients, performing critical procedures, and collaborating with the trauma team to deliver excellent emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions rapidly upon arrival.
• Administer medications, perform invasive procedures, and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate trauma and emergency interventions.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system and communicate with physicians.
• Assist with trauma protocols, resuscitations, and emergency events.
• Educate patients and families on ongoing care and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience.
• Proficiency in Meditech EMR and acute patient care procedures.
• Ability to perform airway management, vascular access, and trauma protocols.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, kindness, and excellent communication skills.
• Trauma center experience preferred.
