Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver immediate and effective treatment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs, responses to treatments, and progress.
• Document patient information accurately in MEDITECH EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, including trauma and behavioral health incidents.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with licensure in the state.
• Obtain at least 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR and emergency equipment.
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team.
