Job Summary:

Provides specialized radiologic imaging and interventional procedures within the Cardiac and Vascular Radiology department. Operates sophisticated equipment to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions involving the cardiovascular system.

Responsibilities:

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and vascular system.
• Assist physicians with complex interventional procedures, including catheterizations and specialized exams.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort according to established protocols.
• Adjust technical parameters such as radiation dosage and imaging sequences based on physician instructions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and system data during procedures, communicating changes to physicians promptly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• Possess a valid state radiologic technologist license (RT).
• Have a minimum of two years recent experience in Cath Lab or interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fluoroscopy and contrast injection techniques.
• Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
