Job Summary:
Provides technical support and assistance to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the Interventional Radiology Lab. Ensures the safe and effective execution of procedures through technical expertise, patient assessment, and communication skills under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures by following established protocols.
• Monitor patient status and assist in maintaining a safe clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines, including privacy, safety, and infection control standards.
• Mentor and train students or new team members in procedural techniques and safety procedures.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including variable start times, weekends, and on-call requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA radiology or interventional radiology license.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
• Maintain current certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment and technical procedures within the IR lab.
• Be able to follow detailed procedural protocols and safety guidelines.
