Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for providing patient support and clinical assistance in an outpatient setting, with duties spanning front-end patient interactions and clinical tasks. The role also covers MA/LVN breaks to ensure continuous patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient check-in, insurance verification, and process referrals efficiently.
• Conduct blood draws, venipuncture, and lab specimen collection with proficiency.
• Support clinical staff with Urology or Women's Health-specific procedures.
• Cover MA and LVN breaks to maintain smooth clinic operations.
• Ensure compliance with vaccination and licensure requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Hold a valid BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Have at least 3 years of outpatient clinical experience, including 2 in the specified specialty.
• Demonstrate proficiency in blood draws, patient intake, and insurance processes.
• Be flexible with floating responsibilities and travel as needed.
• Maintain valid CA licensure or certification, including LVN IV certification if applicable.
