Job Summary:
Seeking a Medical Assistant with outpatient clinic experience to provide patient care in OBGYN settings. The role involves performing clinical duties, procedural support, and laboratory tasks to ensure efficient patient flow and care quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with OB-GYN procedures including PAP tests, colposcopies, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, and Nexplanon insertions.
• Perform blood draws, venipuncture, and lab specimen collections with proficiency.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Collect vital signs, patient histories, and assist with patient education as directed.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain compliance with clinical standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, with at least 1 year in OB-GYN.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program listed on DAPIP website.
• Valid California Medical Assistant certification.
• Proficiency in blood/lab draws, venipuncture, and OB-GYN procedures.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to work flexible hours and float between locations as needed.
