Job Summary:
The Surgical Process Tech plays a vital role in supporting surgical operations by preparing and maintaining the surgical environment, assisting with patient transport, and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. This position requires physical strength and attention to detail to facilitate smooth surgical workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical rooms by cleaning, turning over, and arranging necessary equipment and supplies.
• Transport patients safely to and from surgical areas, ensuring comfort and adherence to protocols.
• Assist surgical staff by managing sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies during procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all operating and patient care areas.
• Follow established safety procedures, including lifting heavy items and adhering to infection control protocols.
• Support orientation and ongoing competency testing, including assessments like ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.

Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Have at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license at the time of application.
• Be able to lift heavy items and transport patients as required.
• Demonstrate active certifications and pass required assessments during orientation.
