Job Details

Job Summary:
Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care and implementing treatment plans. Support patient recovery through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating patient progress and documenting outcomes under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement therapeutic treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and equipment setups.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment routines, exercises, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any concerns or adverse reactions to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper use of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Comply with all healthcare regulations and facility policies, including identification and badge protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid state or federal issued identification required.
• Certified or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant credential.
• Experience in providing direct patient care in a therapeutic or clinical environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and adapt to patients' needs.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including weekdays.
