Job Summary:

A skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is needed to provide outpatient therapy services at a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will work closely with the therapy team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure program adherence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Prepare and operate therapeutic equipment according to established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
• Follow facility policies, including dress code and documentation standards.
• Ensure productivity standards are met and maintain consistent presence in the facility.
• Adhere to all clinical and safety guidelines to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid PTA license or certification in the state of New Mexico.
• Proven experience working in a skilled nursing or SNF setting preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and documentation protocols accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism in dress code and conduct.
• Commitment to meeting productivity requirements.
