Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women and newborns in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes through expert clinical practice and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assess obstetric patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
• Support immediate newborn care, including resuscitation and stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and staffing guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience with high-risk cases.
• Hold valid RN licensure and current BLS/ALS certifications.
• Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and advanced fetal monitoring.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, adaptability, and outgoing personality.
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures preferred.
