Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse for night shifts, with a focus on obstetric and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will provide couplet care and manage hysterectomy patients, utilizing both OB and basic med-surg skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive obstetric patient care, including antepartum, L&D, and postpartum services.
• Provide couplet care to mother and newborn, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Manage hysterectomy patients with essential post-surgical nursing skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to monitor fetal and maternal well-being and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and institutional policies, including RTO and travel guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in L&D and obstetric nursing.
• Valid state or compact license required at time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring.
• Preferred: STABLE certification and EPIC EMR experience.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work at least one holiday and adapt to float within hospital units.
• Travel experience and references within the last two years required.
