Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech will assist in operating room procedures by preparing the surgical environment, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all equipment functions correctly. They will work closely with surgical teams to facilitate smooth and efficient surgeries across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments, hold retractors, and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment post-procedure.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate case flow and patient safety.
• Support in the setup and breakdown of surgical trays, supplies, and instruments as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess active NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted).
• Have a minimum of 2 years surgical tech experience, with preferred expertise in neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases.
• Hold BLS certification and a valid radiation badge.
• Be proficient in assisting with common surgical cases such as ortho, neuro, ENT, robotics, transplants, trauma, and GYN.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room procedures.
