Job Summary:
The Ambulatory OR CST supervises and assists in surgical procedures within a fast-paced outpatient setting, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care. The role involves managing cases, adhering to safety standards, and supporting the surgical team.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preoperative preparations and assist during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols.
• Support the surgical team by managing instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with certifications and hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to facilitate smooth workflows.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold NBSTSA certification and BLS certification.
• Possess radiation badge as required by the parent company of the ORs.
• Have at least 2 years of perioperative experience.
• Demonstrate experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, endocrine, or surgical oncology preferred.
• Be able to float within scope of practice and adapt to facility needs.
• Be licensed or eligible for South Carolina RN license with proof of application.
