Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Traveling Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to support high-risk obstetric patients. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality care on a 13-week assignment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care in a fast-paced obstetric unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with obstetric procedures such as cesarean sections and other surgical interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems such as CPN and Meditech.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards, including royal blue scrub attire.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Proficient in intermediate fetal monitoring, ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications.
• Must have circulating O.R. skills and the ability to manage high-risk OB patients.
• Bilingual candidates and those with scrub tech skills are preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and on-call hours.
