Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care for perinatal patients. Responsible for delivering high-risk obstetric services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including assessment, monitoring, and support during delivery.
• Administer medications, including epidural anesthesia, and operate relevant equipment such as Alaris and CADD pumps.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal well-being using advanced EFM technologies and respond to changes in patient status.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Support patients and families through prenatal, labor, and postpartum periods, ensuring emotional and physical comfort.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in high-risk obstetrics.
• Current certification in ACLS, NRP, and BLS.
• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a Level III Maternal and Neonatal Level II unit.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures including C-sections, twin deliveries, and massive transfusions.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, motivated attitude.
