Job Summary:
Provides specialized physical therapy services to patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ condition using standardized assessments and clinical judgment to create tailored treatment plans.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, wound care, and the use of supportive devices.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatments as needed and documenting outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers on treatment plans and strategies for ongoing care.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and barriers to recovery.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards, and maintain detailed, accurate records in electronic health systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Oklahoma State License as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Possess at least 1 year of outpatient or rehabilitation experience; new graduates with Level II experience are acceptable.
• Demonstrate competency in performing therapeutic procedures, wound care, and patient education.
• Ability to supervise and support physical therapist assistants, aides, and students.
• Comply with APTA and state practice acts, ethical standards, and professional conduct guidelines.
