Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, including neonates and infants, in a teaching hospital setting. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through assessment, treatment, and monitoring following established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and clinical findings accurately in electronic health records.
• Comply with certification requirements including RRT, BLS, PALS, and NRPC standards.
• Maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment to uphold infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RRT certification with at least 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant experience.
• Possess current South Carolina RRT license or pending license verification.
• BLS, PALS, and NRPC certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in pediatric respiratory care.
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts, with flexibility for holiday rotation.
