Job Summary:
Provide specialized assessment, treatment, and rehabilitative services for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with regulatory standards and clinical best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients using standardized assessments and evidence-based techniques.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical observations.
• Document clinical interventions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately within electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment goals and outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to maintain clinical competence.
• Supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CCC-SLP certification and Missouri State Licensure.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist; new graduates with Level II experience considered.
• Demonstrate experience in LTC or rehab settings.
• Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies consistent with clinical requirements.
• Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethical standards.
• Possess strong communication and documentation skills.
