Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to serve as an assessing therapist with a manageable caseload and additional Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities. The role involves leadership, compliance oversight, and collaborative patient care within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA, to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Oversee compliance with PDPM processes and federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Develop and refine rehabilitation programs tailored to high-acuity patients.
• Attend morning meetings, facility meetings, and coordinate scheduling to support operational efficiency.
• Monitor clinical and financial performance metrics to optimize department results.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care and team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience in a SNF or LTC rehab setting.
• Demonstrate leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
• Hold an active Missouri State License.
• Have a thorough understanding of PDPM regulations.
• New graduates are not eligible for this position.
