Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert therapy services at a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke facility. The role involves working in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings, serving a diverse patient population in Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations, including video assessments when necessary.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech electronic health records.
• Cover both acute care and inpatient rehab units, adapting to changing patient needs with flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri.
• Strong Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proficiency in bedside swallow evaluations and use of TIMS equipment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and rotating weekends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within diverse teams.
