Job Summary:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to inpatient rehab patients, focusing on recovery and functional independence. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at improving ADLs and mobility.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home programs.
• Utilize rehab equipment and ensure proper use during therapy sessions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care or rehab experience.
• Strong knowledge of evaluation techniques and therapeutic procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
• BLS certification preferred.
