Job Summary:
TRAVEL – RN L&D (707) is a Registered Nurse role supporting Labor and Delivery and OBED services during evening shifts. The position provides high-acuity maternal care, assists with delivery services, and manages intermediate fetal monitoring and advanced life support needs in time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-risk OB care and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions throughout the labor process
• Monitor and interpret intermediate fetal monitoring data and respond to changes in maternal-fetal status
• Manage critical infusions, including magnesium drips and insulin drips, per clinical protocols
• Perform emergency and escalation nursing actions using NRP principles when indicated
• Circulate or scrub for procedures as needed to support safe, efficient labor and delivery operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure coordinated patient care in an EMR-based workflow

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and be eligible for travel assignment requirements
• Possess at least 1 year of travel experience in high-risk OB Labor and Delivery or comparable high-acuity settings
• Maintain current NRP certification
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrate proficiency with intermediate fetal monitoring and rapid clinical decision-making
• Bring OBED and high-volume/high-risk OB experience (preferred)
