Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a busy hospital unit. Deliver compassionate, efficient patient care while utilizing technical skills and adhering to unit policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following medical directives.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and other equipment.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active state registration.
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Proven ability to care for post-surgical, spinal cord injury, or burn patients.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
