Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. Ensure patient safety, coordinate treatments, and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and health management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and 2+ years of current Med/Surg hospital experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, and EMR systems.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to handle complex patient cases including post-op radial cardiac cath and heparin drips.
• Exhibit strong communication and energetic team-oriented attitude.
