Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a prominent healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care on a Medical/Surgical unit, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care, including wound and dressing management for post-op burn and flap patients.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care procedures and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and at least 1-year experience in an acute care hospital Med/Surg unit.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with burn care, wound care, and ostomy care highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
