Job Summary:
TRAVEL - RN - Med/Surg (648) - HCA HealthONE Swedish - 7A - 7P provides skilled nursing care for neuro med/surg patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate care, and support best practices for stroke and neuro-focused clinical pathways.

Responsibilities:

• Perform NIH/stroke and neuro clinical assessments and document findings in the EMR
• Conduct fall risk assessments and implement patient safety interventions
• Administer medications and manage therapies using IV pumps and related infusion equipment
• Provide respiratory care support, including trach care and oxygenation monitoring
• Support feeding tube care, including feeding protocols and related tolerance monitoring
• Apply evidence-based neuro clinical practice guidelines and escalate changes in condition promptly

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and maintain compliance with all applicable requirements
• Possess at least 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Demonstrate strong BLS skills and maintain certification
• Apply ACLS and neuro-relevant experience when caring for stroke and neuro patients
• Use EMR systems effectively, including Meditech experience preferred
• Show strong critical thinking, initiative, and collaborative communication with multidisciplinary teams
