Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical RN provides expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures or recovering from surgery. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Document patient information accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active RN license for Georgia or a Compact state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) effectively.
• Must comply with all travel and compliance regulations, including full onboarding requirements.
• Willing to work during major holidays as needed.
