Job Summary:
Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the intermediate and stepdown units, supporting patient stabilization and recovery. Ensure quality patient outcomes through skilled clinical practice and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret ECG rhythms for patient stability.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license in Handah or eligible for Ohio licensing.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent Stepdown or PCU experience, including travel experience accepted.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active status.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be willing to work rotating day and night 3x12 shifts with every other holiday coverage.
