Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care on the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a major hospital. The position offers 3x12-hour rotating shifts, with potential to float to adjacent units, ensuring flexibility to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown and related units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, responding promptly to abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely within electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with certification, licensing, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand at time of application.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, permanent experience in a stepdown or similar specialty setting.
• Demonstrate active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, with nothing pending.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with passing scores.
• Have experience working at least every other holiday, with flexibility for shift rotations.
• Submit a manager or supervisor reference specific to the applicable specialty.
