Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units during night shifts. Ensures safe, effective patient management while adhering to facility and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and responsiveness to updates during orientation.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Maintain active licensure, certifications, and compliance with facility requirements, including drug screens and background checks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at the time of application.
• BLS and ACLS certifications with active status.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and qualification tests within specified timelines.
