Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care services in a hospital setting. The clinician will deliver respiratory therapy across various hospital departments, including labor and delivery, ensuring patient safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients based on physician orders.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
• Float within scope to different hospital units, including labor and delivery, to meet facility needs.
• Maintain all required certifications and licenses in accordance with state and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Possess NBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS, all current at the time of start.
• Demonstrate ability to float across hospital departments, including labor and delivery.
• Able to work 3x12 day shifts, with flexibility for holiday rotation.
