Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide specialized care in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC) unit. This role involves managing complex cardiac and vascular surgical patients in a fast-paced environment on a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care including epidural management, chest tube care, and tube feedings.
• Monitor and adjust cardiac GTT medications such as phenylephrine, dobutamine, and amiodarone.
• Evaluate patient status, perform assessments, and document findings accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and intervene according to clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent stepdown and telemetry experience.
• Valid RN license and current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proven experience with CV surgery patients, including open heart, TAVR, AAA repair, or vascular procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
