Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit at Transylvania Regional Hospital. The RN will provide specialized patient care, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient conditions using EKG, IV pumps, and wound vacs, and respond to changes effectively.
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, Foley catheter insertions, and arterial line management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications completed prior to orientation.
• Experience in ICU, stepdown, or med/surg settings preferred.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
