Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing education and support to staff in a PCU setting, ensuring competency and compliance with hospital standards. Facilitate real-time coaching, validation, and onboarding to promote high-quality patient care and staff development.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted clinical education content to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support onboarding, orientation, and competency validation processes for new and existing staff.
• Conduct unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching to enhance knowledge and practices.
• Document education activities meticulously and identify barriers to completion, escalating issues as needed.
• Assist with re-educations following audit findings or practice assessments.
• Collaborate with educators and leaders to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2+ years of experience in acute or critical care.
• Demonstrate strong communication, coaching, and teaching skills.
• Experienced in clinical teaching, competency validation, and staff onboarding.
• Familiar with education tracking tools, dashboards, LMS platforms, or competency checklists.
• Prior experience with high-risk education, regulatory readiness, or quality/safety initiatives is preferred.
