Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a 20-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The RN will monitor patients on telemetry, perform assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately, utilizing telemetry data and clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other staff to coordinate patient progress.
• Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and clinical competency.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Progressive Care or Stepdown unit.
• Telemetry competency required; recent PCU experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong patient-centered communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
