Job Summary:

Provide specialized cardiac step-down nursing care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. Ensure patient safety and comfort through attentive monitoring and effective interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ vital signs and clinical conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac patients for any changes or complications.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about condition management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during assigned shift hours.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
