Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a stepdown cardiovascular progressive care unit. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient interventions, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and medication administration.
• Manage post-operative procedures such as chest tube and epidural management.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a stepdown, telemetry, or cardiac surgical unit.
• Proven experience managing cardiac devices and medications (e.g., CVG, IV drips, cardiac gtts).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.
• Strong team-oriented and adaptable personality.
