Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory and critical care support for pediatric and adult patients requiring ECMO therapy. The RT will collaborate with ICU teams in dynamic environments, managing complex device protocols and delivering specialized patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy and manage ECMO devices during bedside procedures.
• Monitor and adjust ECMO support in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Collaborate with ICU staff to provide comprehensive care to patients post-cardiac surgery, trauma, or respiratory failure.
• Maintain proficiency with specialized equipment such as Cardiohelp and Centrifugal ECMO consoles.
• Ensure compliance with certification standards, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CMEs.
• Document patient progress and device management accurately within EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold active RRT license and at least one year of ICU experience involving ECMO technology.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR and specialized ECMO device courses.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and SC certifications.
• Experienced in managing pediatric and adult critical care patients.
• Ability to float between CVICU and PICU units as needed.
• Must be more than 100 miles from any Prisma facility to qualify for travel assignments.
