Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients in a teaching hospital setting. This role involves night shifts, with responsibilities including ensuring patient stability and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal respiratory support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust ventilator settings or therapies as needed.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately within the Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements, including RRT, BLS, PALS, and NRPC.
• Maintain a safe environment by following hospital policies and adhering to scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license prior to start date.
• Have at least 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system (preferred).
• Possess BLS, PALS, and NRPC certifications.
• Be willing to work 3x12 night shifts, including holiday rotation.
• Show ability to comply with state licensing and hospital credentialing requirements.
