Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care to adult patients in a dynamic hospital environment. The role involves covering night shifts and requires flexibility for occasional floating within scope to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to adult patients in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document clinical interventions accurately within the electronic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, with availability for emergency response during hurricane season if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a NBRC RRT credential and SC RCP license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of adult critical care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Epic electronic health record and advanced respiratory equipment.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be willing to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including holidays, with weekend requirements.
• Be flexible to float to main hospital if needed and ready to comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
