Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced LPN for a Medical Surgical unit, providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience, strong charting abilities, and flexibility to float within the designated unit.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and IV therapy following established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, perform pain assessments, and document patient status accurately.
• Support nursing staff by managing patient assignments and communicating changes to RNs/MDs.
• Perform wound care, Foley catheter insertions, and specimen collections as needed.
• Complete all required charting in EPIC and adhere to documentation standards.
• Float within skillset to other units, maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current New York Single State LPN license (NY not in compact).
• Possess a valid BLS certification.
• Have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vital signs, medication administration, and telemetry monitoring.
• Experience in EPIC charting required; telemetry skills preferred.
