Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down unit during night shifts. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety standards.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with 1-2 years of step-down or tele experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems such as Paragon and Pxyis.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in an adult/geriatric care setting.
