Job Details

TactStaff is seeking a compassionate and collaborative School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a K-6 caseload within partnering school districts in the West Valley of Phoenix for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working with students to support fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and functional skills that promote success within the educational environment.

• Pay Range: $50–56/hour depending on experience and assignment details

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals and service plans
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments related to motor, sensory, and functional performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and accommodations
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation, progress notes, and service logs
• Support students with sensory regulation, handwriting, fine motor development, self-help skills, and classroom participation

Requirements

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time during the school year
