Job Description
Job Summary:
A CONTRACT RN specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is needed for a 13-week assignment at a busy hospital facility. The role involves supporting advanced cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with advanced EP procedures such as ablations, device implants, and structural heart interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures, providing accurate documentation and responding to clinical needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards, including wearing provided scrubs.
- Maintain proficiency with specialized equipment and EMR documentation systems.
Qualifications:
- Hold at least one year of experience in cath labs, EP labs, interventional radiology, or OR settings.
- Demonstrate greater than one year of EP RN experience preferred.
- Possess current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Ability to adapt to daily case fluctuations and work effectively within a team.
- Exhibit flexibility and strong interpersonal skills for a cohesive work environment.
