Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP position to provide expert cardiovascular nursing care. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Assist cardiologists with catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after cardiac interventions.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in the medical records.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including aseptic techniques.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Texas RN license or Compact license.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in cardiac care or Cath Lab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with MedHost and GE MacLab systems.
• Travel more than 150 miles from the facility or reside in a metropolitan area.
• Be willing to work day shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with possible end-of-shift adjustments.
