Job Summary:

Registered Nurse with specialized experience in intensive care units to provide expert patient care in high-acuity settings. Responsible for managing critically ill patients in various ICU environments, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate patient care in ICU units, including Neuro, Med/Surg, and Trauma ICUs.
• Administer complex treatments such as CRRT, Prismaflex, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring, and TTM.
• Monitor patient condition closely, recognizing deterioration and executing priority interventions.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, licensure, and safety standards.
• Float to supported units as needed, maintaining flexibility and clinical readiness.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification.
• Possess 2+ years of recent ICU experience, including ICU charge or management roles.
• Document prior experience with CRRT, Prismaflex, and neuro/trauma equipment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR and have a valid driver’s license matching the address.
• Provide two recent nursing references and verification of all active licenses.
