Job Summary:


Experienced critical care Registered Nurse sought to provide specialized care in a state-of-the-art cardiac intensive care unit. The role involves managing complex cardiovascular conditions with a focus on hemodynamic monitoring and advanced procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive patient care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CCU.
  
• Perform advanced procedures including central line and Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, and assist with intubations.
  
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data using Phillips telemetry monitors and equipment such as PA catheters and Impella devices.
  
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans focused on cardiovascular stability.
  
• Ensure accurate documentation in Meditech and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
  
• Float as needed to other units based on census and staffing requirements to ensure optimal patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
  
• Proven expertise in cardiac critical care, including PA catheter management and hemodynamic monitoring.
  
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
• Demonstrated ability to perform procedures such as central line and swan insertions.
  
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
  
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
