Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a busy Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care procedures and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced ICU procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and EVD insertions.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide attentive, compassionate patient and family support, ensuring a positive hospital experience.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including unit-specific protocols, dress code, and staffing policies.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Proven ability to perform complex ICU procedures with proficiency.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
