Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a med-surg and overflow unit, supporting post-surgical and observation patients. Collaborates with team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery during day shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Assist in patient transition and communications between team members and family.
• Support a team nursing approach by collaborating with LPNs and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in medical-surgical or tele unit.
• Have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
• Demonstrate EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Meet all compliance requirements, including vaccination and vaccination status documentation.
• Willing to work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
