Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit in a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and trauma patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state or valid compact license meeting NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent or relevant experience in a Medical-Surgical or Orthopedic setting.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and handle a 1:12 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Experience with trauma cases and large hospital environments preferred.
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
• Strong clinical skills and familiarity with EPIC documentation system preferred.
